On this page you will find useful information about the online conference platform, Swapcard, and how to participate remotely at ESCAIDE this year.

Swapcard platform

The conference platform Swapcard will be accessible to all online and physical attendees through a website and mobile app.

Features include the programme with access to live-streamed sessions (with chat, Q&A and poll functions), abstracts, the poster exhibition, direct messaging and chat rooms. 

Please note that not all sessions will be available online, such as the poster tours, BarCamp, and networking events.

Accounts

Closer to the event date, confirmed participants will have an account automatically created on Swapcard, using the email address with which they registered for ESCAIDE. You will be sent a link by email to access your account and complete your profile. We strongly encourage you to add information about yourself, as this will be available to other attendees and enhance your networking experience at the conference. Speakers and abstract presenters will have their accounts automatically linked to their session, so other users can view their profile and make contact.

Previous ESCAIDE attendees will be able to use the same account as in previous conferences, as long as they registered with the same email address and agreed to have their information retained.

Hybrid ESCAIDE

With the return of the physical event, we are creating a fully integrated experience, to connect the online and physical attendees. 

All attendees will therefore have access to Swapcard, to view the programme and sessions, abstracts and posters, and interact with other attendees, both in-person and online.
