MediPIET in focus: The past and the future of a regional field epidemiology programme in the EU neighbourhood
MediPIET is a regional training programme implemented under the EU Initiative on Health Security, which aims to strengthen health security in the EU as well as the EU enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy (ENP) partner countries and is implemented by the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC). The aim of the session will be to highlight the impact the programme has had at the regional and national level and to provide strategic outlook and role of the regional FETP in strengthening health security in the EU and its neighbourhood. Speakers will also share the impact the programme has had on their personal and professional experiences.
